Seven of the eight multivitamin bottles in this guide print a gender or age word on the front: “Advanced Multi For Her”, “For Him”, “WOMEN'S 50+ COMPLETE”, “MEN'S 50+ COMPLETE”, “Women's Multi 50+”, “Men's Multi 50+” and “MEN'S 50+”. The eighth, a Centrum gummy, prints none; its directions line is addressed to “Adults”. The Supplement Facts panels sort differently. One panel prints an iron line, two print a fish-oil block, six print calcium and magnesium, and two brands sell a men's and a women's version whose panels print seventeen matching amounts while five change. We read all eight, put the vitamin D, B12, calcium, magnesium and omega-3 lines side by side, work out what one gummy, tablet or capsule carries, and walk the two same-brand pairs row by row. Label math only: no claims about who needs what or why a line differs.
Eight labels, four serving sizes
The eight panels use four serving sizes: 3 gummies, 2 gummies, 1 tablet and six capsules. The table lists each serving size with the servings per container and the piece count printed on the label; the For Him count sits on a side graphic rather than the bottle front.
| Label | Serving size, servings, pieces |
|---|---|
| Nature Made Advanced Multi For Her Gummies | 3 Gummies; 30 servings; 90 gummies |
| Nature Made Multi + Omega-3 For Him Gummies | 2 Gummies; 75 servings; 150 gummies |
| Bronson Women's 50+ Complete Multi Tablets | 1 Tablet; 180 servings; 180 tablets |
| Bronson Men's 50+ Complete Multi Tablets | 1 Tablet; 180 servings; 180 tablets |
| Thorne Women's Multi 50+ | Six Capsules; 30 servings; 180 capsules |
| Thorne Men's Multi 50+ | Six Capsules; 30 servings; 180 capsules |
| Swisse Ultivite Men's 50+ Tablets | 1 Tablet; 60 servings; 60 tablets |
| Centrum Multi Gummies with Omega-3 Adult | 2 Gummies; 55 servings; 110 gummies |
Two fronts print “180”, and the same count covers different serving numbers: the Bronson bottles hold 180 one-tablet servings, the Thorne bottles 30 six-capsule servings (6 × 30 = 180). The gummy-versus-tablet-versus-capsule question is covered in our earlier read of six multivitamin labels by form; this page stays on the his, hers and 50+ lines.
The iron line: one panel of eight prints it
Sorting these eight by whether the panel prints an iron line takes one look. Seven panels print no iron line: both Nature Made gummies, the Centrum gummy, both Bronson tablets and both Thorne capsule panels. That list includes the two women's 50+ panels, Bronson and Thorne; neither prints an iron figure. The one panel that prints iron is a men's label: the Swisse Ultivite Men's 50+ panel reads “Iron (ferrous fumarate/iron oxides) 6.3 mg 35%” per 1 tablet, and with 60 servings the bottle holds 6.3 × 60 = 378 mg.
Vitamin D in mcg and IU, and the B12 line
All eight panels print a vitamin D line; six print the same per-serving figure, 25 mcg at 125% DV. The exceptions are the Bronson Men's 50+ tablet at 17.5 mcg (88% DV) and the Thorne Women's Multi 50+ at 50 mcg (250% DV). Five panels add an IU figure; three print micrograms only.
| Label | Vitamin D line as printed |
|---|---|
| Nature Made For Her gummies | 25 mcg (1000 IU), 125% DV, per 3 gummies |
| Nature Made For Him gummies | 25 mcg (1000 IU), 125% DV, per 2 gummies |
| Bronson Women's 50+ tablets | 25 mcg, 125% DV, per tablet; no IU printed |
| Bronson Men's 50+ tablets | 17.5 mcg, 88% DV, per tablet; no IU printed |
| Thorne Women's Multi 50+ | 50 mcg (2,000 IU), 250% DV, per six capsules |
| Thorne Men's Multi 50+ | 25 mcg (1,000 IU), 125% DV, per six capsules |
| Swisse Men's 50+ tablets | 25 mcg, 125% DV, per tablet; no IU printed |
| Centrum Multi + Omega-3 gummies | 25 mcg (1,000 IU), 125% DV, per 2 gummies |
Nature Made prints “25 mcg (1000 IU)” without a comma, Centrum prints “25 mcg (1,000 IU)”, and Thorne puts the IU figure inside the ingredient name, “Vitamin D (as Vitamin D3) (1,000 IU)” on the men's and “Vitamin D (as Vitamin D3) (2,000 IU)” on the women's. Per piece, the same 25 mcg spreads out: 25 ÷ 3 ≈ 8.3 mcg per For Her gummy, 25 ÷ 2 = 12.5 mcg per Centrum gummy, 25 ÷ 6 ≈ 4.2 mcg per Thorne Men's capsule, and the Thorne Women's 50 ÷ 6 ≈ 8.3 mcg per capsule. The three tablets are one piece per serving, so the printed figure is the per-piece figure.
The B12 line spans 6 mcg to 450 mcg per serving: 6 mcg (250% DV) on Nature Made For Him, 10 mcg (417%) on Centrum, 12 mcg (500%) on Nature Made For Her, 25 mcg (printed “1042%”) on both Bronson tablets, 50 mcg (printed “2083%”) on Swisse, 450 mcg (printed “18,750%”) on both Thorne panels. Six panels name cyanocobalamin; the two Thorne panels print “Vitamin B12 (as Methylcobalamin)”. Per piece: 10 ÷ 2 = 5 mcg per Centrum gummy, 12 ÷ 3 = 4 mcg per For Her gummy, 450 ÷ 6 = 75 mcg per Thorne capsule.
Calcium, magnesium and the omega-3 block
Six panels print a calcium line and a magnesium line; the two omega-3 gummies, Nature Made For Him and Centrum, print neither. Calcium per serving: 130 mg (“as Tribasic Calcium Phosphate”) on Nature Made For Her, 500 mg (“as Calcium Carbonate”) on Bronson Women's 50+, 120 mg on Bronson Men's 50+, 330 mg on Thorne Women's, 230 mg on Thorne Men's, 20 mg on Swisse. Magnesium per serving: 42 mg (“as Magnesium Citrate”) on Nature Made For Her, 50 mg (“as Magnesium Oxide”) on Bronson Women's, 110 mg on Bronson Men's, 180 mg on both Thorne panels, 95 mg on Swisse. Per piece, a For Her gummy carries 130 ÷ 3 ≈ 43 mg of calcium and 42 ÷ 3 = 14 mg of magnesium; a Thorne capsule carries 330 ÷ 6 = 55 mg (women's) or 230 ÷ 6 ≈ 38 mg (men's) of calcium and 180 ÷ 6 = 30 mg of magnesium.
The omega-3 block sits on the two gummies that skip those minerals. Nature Made For Him prints, below a thick rule, “Fish Oil 227 mg”, “Total EPA & DHA 60 mg”, then DHA 50 mg and EPA 10 mg (50 + 10 = 60). Centrum prints “Total Omega-3 Fatty Acids (from fish oil) 47 mg”, then DHA 33 mg and EPA 7 mg; 33 + 7 = 40 mg, so 47 − 40 = 7 mg of the total is not named on the panel; per gummy, 40 ÷ 2 = 20 mg of DHA and EPA. Centrum is the only front of the eight that prints a dose figure, “PLUS 7 mg EPA & 33 mg DHA Omega-3s PER SERVING¥”, and it matches the panel per 2 gummies; the ¥ footnote text is not visible in the photographs. The For Him front prints no omega-3 amount.
Same-brand pairs, row by row
Two brands sell a men's and a women's bottle with the same serving size, count and panel layout.
Bronson Women's 50+ vs Men's 50+ tablets
Both fronts print “ONCE-DAILY MULTI” and “180 TABLETS”; both panels are per 1 tablet, 180 servings. The women's panel prints 22 rows, the men's 23. Five rows change amount, and 22 − 5 = 17 rows print the same amount and %DV, among them vitamin A 1050 mcg RAE, vitamin B12 25 mcg and molybdenum 90 mcg; the folate row reads “Folate (400 mcg Folic Acid)” on the women's and “Folate (as 400 mcg Folic Acid)” on the men's, the same 666 mcg DFE on both. The five that change:
- Vitamin D3: 25 mcg (125% DV) women's, 17.5 mcg (88%) men's; 25 − 17.5 = 7.5 mcg apart.
- Vitamin E: 13.5 mg (90%) women's, 11 mg (73%) men's; 13.5 − 11 = 2.5 mg apart.
- Calcium: 500 mg (38%) women's, 120 mg (9%) men's; 500 − 120 = 380 mg, the widest gap on the pair.
- Magnesium: 50 mg (12%) women's, 110 mg (26%) men's; 110 − 50 = 60 mg apart.
- Selenium: 27 mcg (49%) women's, 117 mcg (213%) men's; 117 − 27 = 90 mcg apart.
Three of the five are higher on the women's panel, two on the men's. The twenty-third row exists only on the men's: “Lycopene 370 mcg”, below a thick rule with the footnote “† Daily Value not established”. Neither panel prints iron. On both bottles the directions and warning text wrap around the curve and are cut off after a few words in the photographs; neither directions line is quoted here.
Thorne Women's Multi 50+ vs Men's Multi 50+ capsules
Both fronts print “180 CAPSULES”; both panels are headed “Six Capsules Contain:” with 30 servings. Each prints 23 rows; 23 − 1 = 22 appear on both, and 22 − 5 = 17 of those print the same amount and %DV, among them vitamin C 850 mg, folate 1.7 mg DFE, vitamin B12 450 mcg, magnesium 180 mg and boron 3 mg. Five change amount:
- Vitamin D: 50 mcg (2,000 IU) women's, 25 mcg (1,000 IU) men's; 50 − 25 = 25 mcg apart.
- Vitamin B6: 20 mg (1,176% DV) women's, 10 mg (588%) men's; 20 ÷ 6 ≈ 3.3 against 10 ÷ 6 ≈ 1.7 mg per capsule.
- Calcium: 330 mg (25%) women's, 230 mg (18%) men's. The parentheses locate the gap: “240 mg as Calcium Malate and 90 mg as Calcium Pantothenate, Dicalcium Phosphate, Calcium Laurate” on the women's, 140 mg as Calcium Malate plus the same 90 mg on the men's; 240 + 90 = 330, 140 + 90 = 230, and the 240 − 140 = 100 mg gap sits entirely in the malate figure.
- Zinc: 15 mg (136%) women's, 30 mg (273%) men's; 15 ÷ 6 = 2.5 against 30 ÷ 6 = 5 mg per capsule.
- Copper: 1 mg (111%) women's, 2 mg (222%) men's.
The remaining row on each panel has no partner. The women's prints “Vitamin K (as K2 (MK-7)) 180 mcg 150%”; the men's prints “Lycopene 15 mg” with the footnote “*Daily Value (DV) not established.” Neither prints iron. Neither set of photographs shows a directions or warning line.
What the his-and-hers gummy panels print
The Nature Made “For Her” and “For Him” gummies are not a matched pair in the Bronson or Thorne sense: the For Her bottle is the “Advanced Multi For Her” line at 3 gummies per serving, the For Him bottle is the “Multi + Omega-3” line at 2 gummies, and the panels reflect that. The For Her panel prints nine vitamin and mineral lines the For Him panel does not: thiamin, riboflavin, pantothenic acid, iodine, selenium, manganese and molybdenum, plus the calcium and magnesium lines above. The For Him panel prints a vitamin A line, 450 mcg (50% DV), and the fish-oil block; the photographed For Her panel prints no vitamin A line at all.
The directions are short on the For Her and Centrum labels, “Adults, chew 3 gummies daily.” (For Her) and “Adults: Take two (2) gummies daily. Do not exceed suggested use.” (Centrum), and the Centrum photographs show no warning text.
Quick answers
Does a women's 50+ multivitamin label print iron? Not on the two we read. The Bronson Women's 50+ and Thorne Women's Multi 50+ panels have no iron row; the only iron row among the eight is on the Swisse Men's 50+ tablet, 6.3 mg (35% DV) per tablet.
What does the Thorne Men's Multi 50+ panel print for vitamin D? “Vitamin D (as Vitamin D3) (1,000 IU) 25 mcg 125%” per six capsules; the Women's Multi 50+ panel prints 50 mcg (2,000 IU) at 250%.
How many gummies make a serving on the For Her, For Him and Centrum labels? Nature Made For Her: 3 gummies, 30 servings in 90. Nature Made For Him: 2 gummies, 75 servings in 150. Centrum: 2 gummies, 55 servings in 110.
What changes between the men's and women's panels of the same brand? On the Bronson pair, five amounts (vitamin D3, vitamin E, calcium, magnesium, selenium) plus a lycopene row only on the men's. On the Thorne pair, five amounts (vitamin D, vitamin B6, calcium, zinc, copper), a vitamin K2 row only on the women's and a lycopene row only on the men's.
That is the whole of what these eight panels print. The bottles sit in the multivitamins collection; for B-vitamin lines written in mg, mcg and %DV see the B-complex label guide, and for what each block of a panel means, how to read a Supplement Facts label.
The vitamin C row on these panels is one line among many; for single-ingredient vitamin C labels divided per tablet and per capsule, see our vitamin C 500 mg vs 1000 mg vs 2000 mg read.
