Description
Horbäach Maca Root Capsules deliver a blend of red, yellow, and black maca root extract (Lepidium meyenii) in quick release capsules. Each 3-capsule serving provides 1,200 mg of 4:1 concentrated extract — the equivalent of 4,800 mg of whole maca root, which is the number printed on the front of the bottle. A full bottle holds 120 capsules, or 40 complete servings.
What the Supplement Facts panel says
| Label line | Value |
|---|---|
| Serving size | 3 quick release capsules |
| Maca root extract (4:1) | 1,200 mg per serving |
| Whole-root equivalent | 4,800 mg per serving |
| Servings per container | 40 |
These figures are read directly from the Supplement Facts panel shown in the product photos on this page.
How to read "4,800 mg" — the 4:1 math
A 4:1 extract means roughly four grams of raw maca root are concentrated into one gram of extract. That is why the Supplement Facts panel lists 1,200 mg per serving while the front label says 4,800 mg equivalent — both numbers describe the same three capsules. When you compare maca products, check whether a brand's headline number is the raw-root equivalent or the actual extract weight; the two can differ by the full extract ratio.
Three maca colors in one capsule
Maca is a cruciferous root vegetable cultivated at high altitude in the Peruvian Andes, where it has been grown and eaten as a food crop for centuries. The roots occur naturally in several colors, and this formula combines red, yellow, and black maca in a single capsule rather than using a single-color root powder.
Serving math and cost per day
The label's suggested use for adults is three capsules daily, preferably with a meal. At that rate one 120-count bottle lasts 40 days — $0.75 per serving at the single-bottle price of $30.00, or about $0.25 per capsule. The multi-pack options on this page lower the per-bottle cost:
| Pack | Price | Per bottle |
|---|---|---|
| 1-Pack | $30.00 | $30.00 |
| 2-Pack | $57.00 | $28.50 |
| 3-Pack | $82.80 | $27.60 |
| 4-Pack | $105.60 | $26.40 |
