Great product for newbies especially! This was my first time ever using a chainsaw so I can’t compare it to other experiences. That said, I was very pleased with the experience. I’m a smallish woman (5’6″, about 130lbs) and managed it well. After learning the ins and outs as well as safety basics, I cut down a small ornamental tree, a small-med sized maple tree, and four large willow bushes. It was quick to learn and manageable to handle. I specifically chose this size knowing I don’t have the need for a larger chainsaw. The charge worked fantastically for my needs. I don’t have anything negative at all to say about it. Thanks!

Quiet, dependable; a great value.I purchased the 12″ Green Works chainsaw to help in our Oregon white oak habitat restoration work on “Bogwood.” This small, but mighty chainsaw has taken everything I can throw at it and just keeps on going. It cranks every time and has been used to fall 10″ Douglas-fir and Ponderosa pine as well as the more mundane chore of bucking up logs for firewood. This saw is light enough in weight, I have also used it for pruning large conifer branches. In fact, I recommended it to a tree service supervisor as a replacement for gasoline chainsaws in their cherry-picker, for obvious safety reasons!
It was even laughed at when a neighbor got his 18″ bar (St-hl) chainsaw pinched in a 17″ Doug-fir; but the fellow’s jaw dropped when the little Green Works 12″ saw cut his gasoline powered saw free and then went on to drop the tree and assist in bucking it up for firewood!
I use this chainsaw continuously in wildlife habitat restoration work, to build “bio-dens” for the wildlife in our boggy meadow. No fuss, just a good, dependable light-duty saw; simply add some bar-oil and sharpen or replace the cutting chain as needed. Highly recommend.

Next Generation of Power ToolsThe chain saw is light, quiet, and powerful. It has fewer moving parts and is a lot easier to start. Mine is 14 inches and is great for cutting limbs and smaller branches The battery runs for about 10-15 minutes and recharged in less than an hour. The battery is also interchangeable with their other tools.

Power plusChainsaw is surprisingly. powerful. I actually cut down a 12 ft tall, 14inch diameter stump. I would definitely recommend this tool for any home owner with trees.

Chainsaw 12 inch 40vThis is just what I was looking for. I have many trees that lose limbs all year long. I can just grab this and go to cut up the limbs. No worrying about gas mix.

Cordless ChainsawVery happy with the chainsaw! I only got the 12″ saw, but it works great on small branches and the battery is long lasting.

Little GiantThis bad boy is the best for quick tree trimming. No problem taking down a 10″ round tree.

Great SawI purchased this chainsaw 2 years ago for river cleanup while kayaking. Fit perfectly in my back hatch. It has been submersed in the river, comes back out ready to cut again. No water in the fuel as with a gas chainsaw. Others in the group where so impressed that they also now own the Greenworks chainsaw. Batteries are still good.
