tests show these as good as the name brandsI bought these to see if they were as good as the name brands or not. The test results are in – they are every bit as good as the name brands. I have measured the capacity of a number of different brands on a commercial battery analyzer, and these are as good as any alkaline batteries I have tested so far. The fact that they are made in USA and test very close to another brand that advertises made in USA is a good hint as to who makes these for Wal Mart. Unless you have some specific use case for needing a better battery (and in that case, you should be buying lithium) I can’t find any reason to pay more for the name brand batteries that perform exactly the same as these. I will be buying more.

Every bit as good as name brandThese batteries work perfectly. There really isn’t any discernable difference between them and name brand batteries aside from the label and lower price – they hold their charge as expected and fit as they are supposed to. Don’t overspend on name brand for the exact same product!
