Trying Lenovo for the first time![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased to use a specific program for worship (ProPresenter). We’ve had it for a little over a month and it seems to work well (no issues). In the past we have used Dell and wanted to try a Lenovo as our IT rep suggested it. Looking forward to seeing how it compares to other options. 🙂

Great gaming machine[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great system and plenty fast. I bought for my daughter who loves to play games on it. She loves it and says it is way faster than our old laptop. It runs cool and quiet.

Excellent gaming laptop[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop is exactly what a steady gamer will need. I play a lot of different games, and am a travel Paramedic. This gave me the freedom of a laptop with the functionality of a desktop PC. I have had 0 problems with it since purchase and know it will last me a while we the specs being top end. This is my first Lenovo purchase and will for sure be buying again!

Great laptopGreat laptop, great thermals, excellent performance, if it was 120 or 144 Hz it would be perfect.. but then the price would go up also 😐
See the pictures for passmark test with turbo ON and OFF.

Mainly Upsides, Reccomend this Legion 5.Solid laptop for a discounted price of $750. The AMD Ryzen 5 5600H processor suits my needs way more than I needed it to. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 suits my needs well. I find the keyboard to be tactile but the key travel a little big for my liking. The trackpad feels good as well, and isn’t clicky and loud. The laptop feels well built, it doesn’t feel bendy unless you really try to where you get miniscule bend. Something good to point out is that it comes with the larger 80Whr battery and the smaller and less overkill 230W charger.
Probably only downsides:
Battery life isnt the best, but maybe since I’m used to better battery life on phones.
I checked the RAM on CPU-Z and it is a 3200 Mhz Micron SODIMM CL22 1 x 8 GB stick in single channel mode. But you can always upgrade to something like a CL20 2 x 8 GB 3200 Mhz SODIMM and still find your Legion to be a good bang for buck.
Display is good but listing says it is a 144 Hz panel while it is actually a 60 Hz panel. Display has good brightness of 300 nits for the price, a refresh rate if you aren’t really into gaming, solid color gamut of 72% NSTC, but contrast ratio is around 800:1 which means more towards greyer blacks.
Overall 4/5 to 4.5/5 stars. I reccomend the laptop, more upsides than downsides.

It won’t play my games :/ help!I bought this pc hoping it would be good. It’s amazing strong and powerful although it’s been having issues. I download games I want to play. Minecraft downloading is being difficult but that might be the launcher problems on their side rn. Although my game wizard101 every time I try and open the game I keep getting “connection lost” and it won’t connect to the server. If there’s a way to fix this please let me know otherwise I’m keeping my review at a 3 because I intended to play games on this and haven’t been able to get it to work for the past 3 hours.

Good but not enough[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I should buy an i9. This core i7 is a little weak.

Great gaming experience on a budget![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Legion 5 is a great gaming laptop for a fair price, I’ve been able to to run all modern games so far with a great refresh rate and nice graphics, the only downside is the loud fan when everything spins up. and 1080 max resolution, but honestly for the price these are small quips. and I have NO buyers remorse.
