It was bit tedious to set up but once set up it was a breeze to print, scan and copy and the print quality is good. I like that it is cartridge free because those seem to give out quickly. However, I am curious to see if this will yield more copies because it uses quite a bit of ink in it’s initial set up. So far I like it. I feel it was a smart buy.

High-quality productI am very satisfied with this Epson EcoTank ET-4800 Wireless Supertank Printer. It is high-quality and useful product.
The printer comes well packaged. All inks needed, a long power cord, and a quick start guide were included.
ET-4800 sets up pretty easily. The Epson software, as well as the Epson Smart Panel, is easy to use for printer management, help and updates. The printer can be connected to any device with Wi-Fi, or trough a cable. I prefer mobile printing, as most convinient and quick for me. I connected to the printer directly without using a router.
I am pleased with print speed, quick copying and scanning. Print quality is quite good, and the few photos I have printed out using glossy paper have been excellent.
I would highly recommend this printer, as a great small home office printer with easy to fill print ink tanks.

Surprisingly goodEpson has long been a staple in my home. This particular printer is lightweight and compact, it’s small footprint design doesn’t take up much space at all. The initial setup and WiFi connection was easy and painless, I was printing in just a matter of minutes. The print quality is excellent, the printed ink dries quickly and doesn’t smear. Really appreciate the EcoTank technology, EcoTanks rely on ink bottles and a refillable ink tank system and offer a much higher page yield compared to regular ink cartridges, which minimizes the frequency for refills and results in an extremely low cost per page.
Epson went all out with the white color on this model, it’s is a nice change-up from the typical black we’re used to seeing. Unfortunately there is no paper tray, it utilizes an old-school rear paper feed, however I didn’t find this to be a big issue, although potential dust could be a concern.
The Epson ET-4800 has a sheet-fed scanner with an automatic document feeder, so you can scan or copy multiple pages at once, also has an integrated fax feature. Sadly it lacks support for any sort of flash memory, but the mobile printing capabilities surely makes up for this. Print speed is satisfactory, not the fastest printer in town but it’s certainly been adequate for my needs.
Overall, the Epson ET-4800 has very good print quality, relatively quick print speed and the low cost-per-print make this a worthwhile investment. In terms of ink efficiency, you really can’t go wrong with any Ecotank. If you’re looking for a compact printer with a full set of features, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Epson ET-4800 to anyone.

I don’t understand what information you wantThis Epson ET 4800 printer replaces an HP-Officejet 6600 which has been a wonderful machine but the ink costs are ridiculous as is the replacement cost for a new machine. The Epson purchase price is half that of the 6600 and the replacement ink cost promises to be dramatically lower than that of the HP machine. Thank you for giving me the option of a full featured Print, FAX, SCAN, etc. machine at a reasonable price. I m hoping it will match or beat the long life and reliability of the 6600

Great so farA little difficult to set up the wifi printing but eventually got it. Print quality is great for the price point and time will tell on the overall quality.

Good Deal So FarLike how light it is. Like how fast I got it. Love the idea of paying less for ink. Ink was easy to put in it and no mess at all. It seems to print well though a little loud. I haven’t tried any other features yet. I only gave it four stars because my last Epson was garbage. I’ve only had it for a week so I am reserving final judgment.

not a fan of this printerprinting to envelopes is difficult and the ink smudges. When we first bought this printer it did a good job, but 2 months later it is not printing the full line of text (fading at the bottom of the characters) and it has shadow printing. Disappointed with the quality of the printing.

Very dissatisfiedWe paid full price for a new printer we received some thing that was displayed off the shelf ink was all over the printer you could even see were someone had wiped it off and it has a sale price on the top of it which is not the amount that we paid for it we paid $299 before taxes. I am only rating this a one star because I have to before it will let me submit the review

Will not print card stock. Shockingly inadequate.Warning! This printer does not print card stock. It only prints special Epson paper although I was able to get it to print regular paper. Since I purchased it to print labels on card stock it is essentially useless. Since it never occurred to me that this printer would be so inadequate that I needed to make sure it printed card stock I am stuck with it. Bet it won’t print Avery labels either. Thanks Epson. Awful.
